If you are interested in contemporary art the Kunsthalle is the place for you to go to. The mission of the museum is to mediate, present and influence Hungarian and international trends and phenomena in the contemporary visual arts.
Every year they organize 5-6 different contemporary exhibitions, where you can see works by contemporary photographers, artists and all kinds of modern art.
The building is located on Heroes Square, and the building of the Kunsthalle began in around 1896.

Tuesday – Sunday: 10 am to 6 pm
Thursdays: 12 pm to 8 pm
