Budapest Zoo is one of the world’s oldest zoo, The building of the zoo began already in the 1820s. In recent years, large parts of the zoo have been renovated.
There is something for everyone and you can easily walk around here for several hours. Here are 155 different bird species, 118 mammals and 119 different reptiles represented.
Elephants, monkeys, polar bears, lions, crocodiles, giraffes and spiders are some of the animals you can watch here.
Small children have the opportunity to pet some of the animals.
